Covid-19 caused 115,736 new cases: the highest number ever reported

On Tuesday, India recorded 115,736 new cases of the novel coronavirus, the highest number so far. Maharashtra reported 55,469 cases, while Chhattisgarh reported 9,921 cases, a new record.
