India may face COVID-19 Vaccine shortage till July End- ISB

As India prepares to vaccinate every citizen over the age of 18 and under 44 years of age against COVID-19 since May, the Indian School of Business (ISB) has said that the current supply of jabs (vaccine) level is not very good, the inoculation rate was also seen in the first week of April. In its presentation to Niti Aayog recently, ISB also indicated that many states will continue to experience vaccine shortages till July. Maruti Suzuki Closes Plants to Provide Oxygen for Medical Purposes

According to a stock exchange filing, Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car manufacturer, will shut down its manufacturing units in Haryana to make oxygen gas available for medical needs. Suzuki Motor has also planned to close its Gujarat plant, according to Maruti Suzuki. Maruti Suzuki said it has moved its annual maintenance shutdown from June to May 1 through May 9, and that it is committed to assisting the government in diverting oxygen to save lives.
