Yamaha’s Electric Dirt Bike Can Assist You In Learning Motocross Correctly

Dohms, a development company, and Eleo (formerly known as Spike Technologies), an electro-mobility company, have collaborated on an electric motocross bike. Elmar Dohms, who is not only the head of the production but also a motocross racer and a motocross trainer, came up with the concept. Yamaha Europe provided the electric dirt bike, which is based on the YZ250F. It's still in development mode, but it'll likely race in the 250cc motocross class. The heart of the machine is a powerful electric motor that can match the output of 250cc motorcycles. Having all of the bike's torque available from the start could make it more usable and quicker off the line. It's just a matter of the battery, which should last for at least 30 minutes of continuous riding. The EMX machin...

The Mercedes-Benz EQS electric sedan will be released on April 15th

By 2022, Mercedes-Benz plans to launch ten electric vehicles. Some, including the EQA compact hatchback and the EQB and EQC small SUVs, as well as hybrid commercial vehicles like the eVito and eSprinter vans, are already well-known. We now have another series of spy shots of the big electric Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan, which will sit alongside the S-Class, ahead of its global debut on April 15. However, delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic are becoming more popular these days, so expect it to hit showrooms early this year as a 2021 model. The prototype photographed in Stuttgart wears very little camouflage, allowing us to see that the car is much lower and sleeker than a traditional Mercedes, such as the CLS and AMG GT 4-Door Coupe. The car's flanks are already visible, and its s...

Harley-Davidson is focusing on electric bikes and has hired Ford CEO

Harley-Davidson Inc. has named Jim Farley, the CEO of Ford Motor Company, to its board of directors, the latest move by CEO Jochen Zeitz as he attempts to revive the struggling motorcycle manufacturer and prepare it for an electric future. Farley's appointment was announced in a letter to shareholders from Zeitz dated April 9 and included in a filing prior to the company's annual shareholders meeting on May 20. Farley, who took over as CEO of Ford in October and is known for his passion for motorsports, owns a number of classic Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He is the only new member of the board of directors. Farley and Zeitz are both looking to embrace electrification in order to improve their century-old businesses. When Zeitz was a Harley board member, he championed the bra...

In the first quarter of 2021, Mercedes-Benz increased its global sales by 22.3%

Mercedes-Benz sold 590,999 passenger cars worldwide in the first quarter of 2021, owing to the high demand for plug-in hybrids and all-electric vehicles in China and the United States. In comparison to the same time last year, revenues have increased by 22.3 percent globally. One out of every four Mercedes-Benz and smart cars sold in Europe was an xEV.  About 59,000 plug-in hybrids and all-electric vehicles were sold globally, accounting for around 10% of total sales, with over 16,000 all-electric vehicles sold. The EQA, which was released in January of this year, has also been well received. The EQA has already received 20,000 orders. Given the positive start, the company plans to introduce three new models this year: the EQS, EQB, and EQE. The current global short...

The Suzuki GSX-S1000 is getting a makeover

Suzuki works at a slower speed than other Japanese manufacturers, so the news that a new GSX-S1000 will be unveiled soon—following the redesigned 2021 Hayabusa—comes as a surprise. The bike is the subject of a new teaser video from the company, which is intended to give away as little information as possible, as is typical of such marketing tactics. It's the standard format: darkened pictures, close-up glimpses, and a slightly illogical slogan—in this case, "the elegance of naked aggression"—which would be unsettling in any other sense. However, the teaser, as well as Suzuki's recent trends in new model growth, can reveal a lot. Although it's tempting to think that Suzuki will go all-out on the next-gen GSX-S1000, stripping the fairing off the new GSX-R1000 to produce a 20...

Rescheduled launch of the TVS Apache RR 310 2021

The new TVS Apache RR 310 will be powered by the same 312.3 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 33.5 bhp at 9,700 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm. Remember how we were told earlier this week that the modified TVS Apache RR 310 will be released in India on April 7th? That obviously isn't going to happen. Yes, the company has postponed the launch of the iconic Apache bike in India until 2021 due to an increase in coronavirus cases in the country. Since the launch was supposed to be an in-person event rather than a digital event, the two-wheeler manufacturer chose not to go ahead with it due to the increasingly rising number of COVID-19 cases in the world.  The company hasn't said when the upcoming TVS bike will be released in India, but based on what we've learned, it wil...

Triumph Trident 660 is now available in India: find out more about the price, specifications, and features

The Triumph Trident 660 was launched in India at a price of Rs. 6.95 lakh (ex-showroom, India). As a result, it is less expensive than the Street Twin and joins Triumph's lineup as the cheapest choice. However, this is an introductory price that will most certainly rise in the coming months. The Trident is the British company's all-new entry-level naked roadster, which was unveiled last year and has been available for booking in India since November 2020. It pays homage to the Trident classic roadster, which debuted in 1969 and competed with the Honda CB750. The new Trident 660, like the old Trident, is powered by a triple-cylinder engine rather than the double-cylinder unit used on the Street Twin. Triumph's newest roadster will be up against some stiff competition. Design: With ...

Mercedes Benz AMG GLB35: First Drive Review

The GLB, which was introduced last year, is a proper, boxy SUV that replaces the GLA's rally racer profile with something akin to a lower-case GLS, complete with extensive black cladding and integrated roof rails. With a front splitter, a more prominent roof spoiler, and a chunkier rear bumper that houses two black round tailpipes, the AMG edition adds more sinister touches. The tester was equipped with 20-inch black alloy wheels instead of 19s ($1,050), which glistened with four-piston silver AMG brake calipers. Despite its small stature, the GLB35 looked like a pit bull with the Cosmos black metallic coat ($720). It was striking in its muscularity and had a foreboding presence. A ratcheted version of the 2.0-liter turbo-4 found in the GLB250 powers this pittie. It produces 302 h...
