Major Highlights
- The BSEB Class 10 examination was held from January 20 to February 24, 2021, and the answer book summing upended on March 24.
- A total of 1.68 million students registered for the BSEB Class 10 examination this year, from which 846,000 were boys and about 838,000 were girls.
- Total students appeared – 16,54,171
- Total passed – 12,93,054
- Overall 78.17% pass in BSEB 10th exam

Topper of Bihar Board 2021
- Pooja Kumari of Simultala Avsiya Vidyalaya Jamui and Sandhushini and Sandeep Kumar of Baldev High School (Rohtas) jointly topped the matric examination conducted by Bihar School Examination Board declared by the state education minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary on Monday.
- All these three students secured the first rank by obtaining 96.80%.
- A total of 101 students have secured a place on the merit list, the matric exam result was announced on April 5.
- A total of 13 students have topped the matric exam from Simultala Awasiya Vidyalaya.
Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary Statement on Bihar Board 2021 Results
- He said the BSEB matric result of 2021 is 78%, which is marginally lower than last year’s 80.51%.
- But taking the fact that the classes were not conducted last year because of COVID-19 this is still a satisfactory result.
