According to a stock exchange filing, Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest car manufacturer, will shut down its manufacturing units in Haryana to make oxygen gas available for medical needs. Suzuki Motor has also planned to close its Gujarat plant, according to Maruti Suzuki. Maruti Suzuki said it has moved its annual maintenance shutdown from June to May 1 through May 9, and that it is committed to assisting the government in diverting oxygen to save lives.
