Mercedes has already unveiled the GLC, A-Class Limousine, and E-Class facelift for 2021. The 2021 GLA, which is expected to debut in the first week of May 2021, will most likely be the fourth model to join the refreshed lineup.
- The new GLA, which was introduced to international markets last year, has a more SUV-like appearance than the previous generation model.
- The 10cm rise in height provides more headroom within the cabin, allowing for a higher seating position.
- The GLA’s visual appeal comes from the deep crease lines on the bonnet that flow down to the single slat grille flanked by the new LED headlamps.
- The GLA’s SUV stance is further enhanced by the sleeker split LED tail lamps and reworked bumpers.
Within, the GLA is expected to get a redesigned cabin, with the dual-screen configuration with the new MBUX system taking center stage. A panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, turbine-shaped aircon vents, electrically adjustable driver seat, ambient lighting, and connected car technology are among the features that could make it into the India-spec model.
The GLA will be available in both gasoline and diesel versions in 2021. At the 2020 Auto Show, Mercedes unveiled the 220d diesel variant.
