Holi 2021: Delhi and other states have banned Holi  

By taking the view of covid-19, various states and union territories have banned the public celebration of Holi 2021.   The coronavirus infection is increasing at an alarming rate, many states are reporting the high spread including Maharashtra, Punjab, and Kerala.  Consequently, many states and union territories have banned the celebration of Holi in public. Likewise, the central government also advised all the states and union territories to decree the covid-19 restrictions ahead of the festival season.  The meeting held on Monday of state disaster management authority has decided that the public gatherings during holi can be the superspreaders of the covid-19 infection.
