Delhi Lockdown For 6 Days: Arvind Kejriwal
Delhi lockdown for 6 days from 10 pm tonight to 5 am next Monday has been imposed by CM Arvind Kejriwal, by taking in view the critical surge of covid-19 spread. Essential services remain open.
"If we don't impose a lockdown now, we might face a bigger calamity. The government will take full care of you. We took this tough decision taking the situation into consideration," Arvind Kejriwal said.
"The six-day lockdown will help us arrange more beds and supplies."
CM said that we are running out of oxygen and ICU beds drastically, sharing the condition of private oxygen which had run out of oxygen at 3 am, which could have lead to a crisis.
