Meanwhile, the Union Health Ministry has advised people to take special precautions. In fact, the presence of ‘alpha’, ‘beta’, ‘gamma’, and ‘delta’ forms of corona have been detected in 174 districts across the country. Due to these new forms of the corona, once again the risk of rapid infection of the corona has arisen. Not only this, but these new forms are also catching people who have taken vaccine doses.

Let us tell you, so far more than 120 mutations of the coronavirus have been identified in India, but out of these, alpha, beta, gamma, and delta forms have shown the most effect. After this, the ‘Delta Plus’ format is also growing rapidly.

Where infection is high, there may be a Lockdown

In view of the rising coronagraph in the northeastern states, once again imposition of lockdown can be considered. So far, the infection rate has exceeded 10 percent in more than 73 districts, out of which 48 districts are from the northeastern states.

In a high-level meeting chaired by Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla on Wednesday, it has been decided that a lockdown can be imposed where the infection is high.

Weekly deaths lowest since October: WHO

Corona cases have increased worldwide in the last week, but the number of deaths in a week has decreased to the lowest level since October. The UN health agency said in its weekly epidemiological report on Wednesday that there has been an increase of up to 30 percent in cases of infection in 53 countries of the European region.

The WHO said that between June 28 and July 4, more than 26 lakh new cases of the corona were reported, which was a slight increase compared to the previous week, while the number of deaths recorded in the week decreased by seven percent to 54 thousand. This is the lowest figure since October.
