Raise your hand if you think the new BMW M3 and M4 are a little too subtle for you. We don’t see a lot of hands. But what about those sheepishly sticking their mitts up at the back? Let’s hope you’re a licensed racer. And the answer is right here.
The BMW M4 GT3 is seen here. It was previewed alongside the camo-clad road car last year but has now made a ‘confident appearance’ at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, according to BMW.
Sure, the M4 would probably characterize itself on Tinder as having a “confident look,” but maybe a crazy race car costume would better suit its big-toothed face. And in a case where massive gaping intakes are useful and a massive rear wing means the whole thing looks like a caricature anyway.
“From my initial impressions on the Nordschleife, the BMW M4 GT3 has maintained the strengths of its predecessor while eliminating its weaknesses,” says BMW works driver Jens Klingmann.
“Of course, you can’t pass that 1:1 to other circuits from such a unique track, but as a driver, you’ll feel right at home in the BMW M4 GT3 from the start. It isn’t unpredictable, so it moves quickly. “It was a lot of fun.”
In June, the M4 GT3 will make its public debut at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. Do you think it pulls off the motorsport look well?
