Dr. Reddy’s Introduced Sputnik V Covid-19 Vaccine in India at Rs 995 Per Dose
The Indian partner Dr. Reddy’s laboratory of Russian investment fund said it has begun sputnik V’s introduction with the first dose being administered in Hyderabad on 14 May, Friday.
The company also stated that the imported vaccine’s price has been fixed at Rs 948 per dose with 5% GST to be charged on the shot, keeping the price under 1000 at 995.4 Rs.
“ As the part of limited pilot, the soft launch of the vaccine has commenced and the first dose of the vaccine was administered in Hyderabad today on May 14, 2021, the company said in regulatory filing with the bourses.
“ The imposed doses of the vaccine are presently priced at an MRP of Rs 948 plus 5% GST per dose, with the possibility of lower price point when supply begins, it said."
