National Anti Terrorism Day 2021: Date, History, Significance

Key points -  National anti-terrorism day is celebrated on 21st May every year in the Indian continent itself.  On this day in the year 1991 the youngest prime minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated. Although India commemorates the 30th death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi and India also observed this day as an anti-terrorism day. He was appointed as the sixth prime minister of India from the tenure of 1984 - 1989.  However, the objective behind the observance of this day is to aware of the youth of terrorism, violence, and prejudice to the national interests.  The day intends to strengthen India's resolve against terrorism and intends to unify its fight against terrorist outfits.
