The death of 69-year-old singer and composer Bappi Lahiri comes as a shock to the music industry. Bappi Lahiri passed away in a Mumbai hospital. Recently, Lata Mangeshkar, who is called the most beautiful star in the music industry, said goodbye to this world.

According to the hospital’s director, Bappi Lahiri had been in the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday.  Further, the doctor says that he died due to OSA (obstructive sleep apnea).

With his tunes and songs, Bappi Lahiri, was also known as Bappi Da. He has pioneered a new type of raga in the music industry.

Bappi Lahiri’s Health Was Suddenly Worsened

Dr. Deepak Namjoshi, Director of the hospital, told PTI, “Lahri Ji was admitted to the hospital for a month and was discharged on Monday.” His condition suddenly worsened on Tuesday, and his family asked the doctor to come home. From there, he was taken to the hospital. He was plagued by a slew of medical issues.

He died as a result of OSA (obstructive sleep apnea). Bappi Lahiri was infected with the coronavirus in April of last year. Following that, he was being treated at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital. After a few days of treatment, he had fully recovered.

People Were Unable To Stop Dancing To His Songs

In the 1970s and 1980s, people were so compelled to dance to such songs that even today people force them to dance. He wrote songs for many blockbuster films, including Chalte Chalte, Sharabi, and Disco Dancer. He previously composed Bhankas for the film Baaghi 3, starring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor.
