Maharashtra’s first death from the Delta Plus variant was reported in Ratnagiri after an 80-year-old man died today, Health Minister Rajesh Tope said, adding that all others were stable.
In the last 24 hours, 51,667 new cases have been registered in India, while 64,527 patients have been cured. The Food and Drug Agency of the Philippines said it has approved the emergency use of a COVID-19 vaccine developed by Indian company Bharat Biotech.
