The Hyundai Creta has been a smashing success in India since its launch, and it is now the most popular mid-size SUV. It has grown in popularity to the point where other automakers are developing their own version of a car to compete with it. Hyundai unveiled its first-ever pickup truck, the Santa Cruz, last month, and it is set to hit the market in the United States soon. A digital artist has now practically recreated a Hyundai Creta model that has been transformed into a pick-up truck.
- K Design visualized Creta as a pick-up truck and created a representation of it. The vehicle’s design components, which can be seen in the side and rear profiles of the digitally created image, are influenced by Santa Cruz.
- The vehicle’s front end has remained untouched. A pair of vertically split headlamps, a cascading front grille, and a silver-finished skid plate on the front bumper are all present on the projected pick-up truck. The proposed vehicle sports C-shaped LED daytime running lamps and LED headlamps, just like the actual Creta. The wheel arches and below the doors of the projected vehicle are covered in black. A set of gorgeous machine-cut alloy wheels, identical to the Hyundai Santa Cruz, is also available.
- The back end of the original Creta has been expanded, revealing a genuine pick-up truck bed for storage. On the imagined car, there are two high-mounted brake lights. The first is attached to the bed’s tailgate, while the second is attached to the window behind the rear passenger compartment, according to Cartoq.
- The word CRETA is spelled out on the tailgate of the fictitious pick-up truck. A body-colored door handle is used to open the tailgate. The Hyundai Creta is available in India for Rs 9.80 lakh up to Rs 17.3 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top-spec models.
