A new rendering depicts how the Audi Q6 e-Tron will appear when it debuts in 2022. Continue reading to learn more about this electric SUV. A new rendering of the Audi Q6 e-Tron shows how the electric SUV could look when it hits the market in late 2022. The Mercedes EQC, Ford Mustang Mach E, and BMW iX will all be competitors.
- 2022 Audi Q6 e-Tron design: With no official sightings of the Audi Q6 e-Tron to date, this new render is the best representation of the electric SUV so far. Like the Q4 e-Tron and e-Tron GT, expect a massive, blanked-off body-color grille to be the centerpiece of its design, with thin LED headlights mounted on top. Large intakes can also be found under them, along with a slew of black accents all over the car.
- 2022 Audi Q6 e-Tron batteries and range: The 100kWh battery from the upcoming A6 e-Tron saloon, which will go on sale after this new SUV in 2023, is likely to be shared by the Audi Q6 e-Tron. The A6 e-Tron was recently unveiled as a concept car with a range of 435 miles. Because of its greater size and less aerodynamic frame, the larger Q6 e-Tron is expected to have a slightly shorter range of about 400 miles. There should be a range of motor options available, including single- and dual-motor models with up to 476hp and 800Nm of torque. That’s the same amount as a top-of-the-line A6 e-Tron.
- 2023 Audi Q6 e-Tron interior and infotainment: Because of its higher price tag, the Audi Q6 e-Tron would most likely have an interior comparable to the Q4 e-Tron, but with a little more room and a few more luxurious touches. There should be plenty of recycled materials used inside, and it’ll almost definitely have a squared-off steering wheel with touch-sensitive buttons like the Audi Q4 e-Tron. The new Q6 e-Tron, like that car, should have a fully flat interior floor, giving passengers plenty of space to spread out in the back. The Q6 e-Tron is expected to feature an augmented reality head-up display with navigational directions shown on the road ahead, as well as a large central touchscreen.
- 2023 Audi Q6 e-Tron price and release date: The Audi Q6 e-Tron could hit the market in 2023, a year before the A6 e-Tron sedan. The new Q6 e-Tron is expected to start at about £60,000, making it significantly less expensive than the current Audi e-Tron SUV.
