All you need to know before registration
It should be noted that there is no app for covid-19 vaccine registration. All you need is a computer, laptop, or a smartphone with internet and a browser like google chrome or safari. And would need Id proof like an Aadhar card, license, and a working mobile number.
How to do registration for covid-19 vaccination
Visit the website www. Cowin.gov.in enter your working mobile number to receive the OTP for the verification. OTP will come via SMS. Click on the verify button to complete the registration process.
Covid-19 vaccination confirmation: how to confirm your registration
Once you register on the Cowin website, “new registration of vaccine” page will appear. Fill in the details like photo ID type, photo ID proof number, date of birth, gender and name, and the rest details. Then click on the register button. You will get all the necessary details regarding registration via SMS. Go through the SMS check out the details. After this, you will get a reference Id at the time of registration, Save this ID.
More than 3 people can register for covid-19 vaccination with the same account
You have the facility to add more than 3 persons from your Co-win account. To add more people, click the “add more” button right side of the accounts detail page. You will need to enter the same details for the other people to register them for a covid-19 vaccine.
How to find covid-19 nearest center online
Visit www.cowin.gov.in on any browser, scroll down and you will see a map and a dialogue box that reads enter the place, address, and location. Enter the location details and click the “go” button.
How to schedule an online appointment for covid-19 vaccination
You can schedule the appointment from the accounts detail page on the Cowin website. To do so, click on the calendar icon placed in front of each registered user or you can directly click the “schedule appointment “button. You will be redirected to the book appointment for vaccination page. On this page, you can search the vaccination center of choice by state, district, or Pincode. Click on the center name, and you will see the available slots, click on the book button, and after that, a new appointment confirmation page will appear. Check out the details once again and click the confirmation button.

How to download the vaccine certificate
After you got your vaccine shot, you can download the certificate. The certificate will contain the name, date of birth, reference id, photo id, vaccine name, hospital name, date, and all other details. The beneficiary’s reference id is very important for getting the certificate.
You can download the certificate either by co-win portal or through the Arogyua Setu app by using the same mobile number. Enter the beneficiary’s reference id and get the certificate.
