In such a situation, there is a problem of mild swelling at the place of vaccination and due to this pain occurs. Some people have pain at the site of the vaccine and some people feel pain in the whole arm. However, there is no need to panic about this and it is easily cured.
It is normal to have pain in the hand after getting the vaccine and there is no need to worry about it. Like other side effects that occur after vaccination, hand pain also gets better in two to three days. Although in some people it can last for 4-5 days, if the pain persists even after this, then you should contact the doctor immediately.
Doctors say that the pain of the vaccine gets cured in a day or two, although a cold compression is advised to reduce the pain. Apart from this, experts recommend keeping the hand active, due to which the circulation of blood continues and pain is relieved. Apart from this, it is advised to take paracetamol in case of fever, it also reduces hand pain.
Usually, the inactivated part of the virus is added to the vaccine and the immune system responds as soon as it enters the body. The immune system tries to protect the body from pathogenic viruses and for this reason, many types of side effects are seen.
