Kabira Mobility was established in 2019 by Jaibir Siwach, a retired aeronautical engineer from the Indian Navy. The KM3000 and KM4000 premium high-speed e-motorcycles are the new offerings from this Goa-based startup.

Kabira Mobility, a Goa-based electric vehicle (EV) startup, opened pre-bookings for their new high-speed e-motorcycles, the KM3000 and KM4000, on February 25, 2021.

What happened next was really remarkable. Jabir Siwach, the company’s CEO and Founder told The Better India how the company got over 5,000 bookings in just four days.

• The KM3000 has three riding modes and a claimed top speed of 100 kmph. The ECO mode has a range of 120 kilometers, while the City and Sports modes have ranges of 95 kilometers and 60 kilometers, respectively. The motor produces 6000W of peak power, and the bike weighs 138 kg with lithium-ion batteries.
• Hi-Performance LFP Cells were used to create the batteries. The total capacity of the pack is 4.4 KW, with an available capacity of 4 KW. For enhanced reliability, the motor contains a dual hall sensor and a temperature sensor.

The KM4000, on the other hand, promises a peak speed of 120 kmph and weighs 147 kg with lithium-ion batteries. The motor has a peak power of 8000W and can travel 150 kilometers on a single charge. The bike is powered by a DeltaEV high-torque BLDC hub engine.

• The KM4000 has an onboard charging solution built-in. There are two charging modes to choose from. A full charge in ECO Charge mode takes an incredible 06 hours, while a full charge in Boost Charge mode takes just 02 hours. The bike is compatible with the Type 02 Universal Charger, which features an anti-removable lock and allows you to charge anywhere, at any time.

“We offer the charging kits alongside these e-motorcycles. Instead of spending Rs 3,000 per month on petrol, you only have to spend Rs 10-15 a day for 2 units of electricity to charge our EVs. I am not at liberty to disclose the exact amount of funding we have received, but it’s a very substantial amount. We receive 5,000 inquiries daily, and our website sometimes crashes as a result,” says CEO to The Better India.
