 The Prime minister Narendra Modi will visit Coimbatore (TamilNadu) and will address an election meeting on 25th Feb, BJP state president L. Murugan informed on Monday.  As similarly, the union defence minister Rajnath Singh will address a youth wing conference in Salem on the 21st of February. Although according to the media spokesperson, PM will attend a government event and then join the meeting organised by the state president of BJP. Mamta Banerjee launches “Maa” scheme to feed poor in Bengal at Rs 5/- per plate

The chief minister of West Bengal Mamta Banerjee has virtually launched the scheme‘’ MAA’’ under which the government will provide the daily meals at the nominal cost of  Rs 5/- only, mainly to the poor people. As ahead of the assembly elections in the state itself.  The government will give a platter of rice, dal, A vegetable and egg curry for rupees 5/- only.  She said that the self-help group kitchens will be operating from 1 pm to 3 pm every day. The opposition party Congress lashed out at the Modi Government in a conference held by them. On Monday morning, the opposition party started briefing with two LPG cylinders on the table. The non-subsidized units LPG cylinder have seen price hikes four times in just three months of time. On February 4, the price was increased by Rs 25, and from February 15 they hiked rs.50 more. Petrol and diesel are hiked by 26 paise and 29 paise per litre rounding up the new price as Rs.88.99 and Rs.79.35 respectively. This was informed by oil marketing companies and be applicable from Monday onwards. In the capital, petrol prices touched Rs.88.14 per litre on Friday, making it the highest mark of all time. Whereas in Mumbai, petrol prices were recorded Rs. 95.46 compared to yesterday which was rs. 95.21. And diesel was priced at Rs. 86.34 in the same city.
