Colleges And Universities Will Reopen In Mizoram

According to an official statement said, the Mizoram government has decided that colleges and universities will reopen in Mizoram from 1st march.

A meeting of health and education department officials chaired by the minister of higher and technical education  Dr. R Lalthangliana decided to reopen the colleges in Mizoram from 1st march. 

Besides, the health and family board vice-chairman and MLA Dr. R Lalthanliana and the higher and technical education board vice-chairman and MLA Vanlaltanpuia also attended the meeting.  

The meeting instructed all the college authorities to strictly follow the standard operating procedure (SOP) and mandatory thermal screening as well, The statement said. 

The health minister of Mizoram ( Dr. R Lalthangliana) urged the authorities of universities to adhere to the protocols of COVID- 19 and follow with guidelines made time to time. 

Government Reforms Rules For Social Media And Internet 

Earlier on Wednesday, the government has decided that the schools will reopen for classes 5-8 from 1st March. 

Although schools have already reopened for 9 – 12 classes. According to state school education department director James Lalrinchhana, the reopening of classes for lower classes will be depending upon the covid- 19 situations.

Apart from these all the school and college universities stayed shut from the last year of March. Thus, the colleges, and universities will reopen in mizoram.
